Elgrishi’s Inshore Grand Slam

If an angler were to mention an IGFA Inshore Grand Slam, thoughts of snook, bonefish, tarpon or permit would come to mind. While those species make up the majority of the inshore slams, the IGFA currently hold, the species that qualify are not limited to that list of popular flats fish. Simon Elgrishi was able to land an IGFA Inshore Grand Slam on Christmas day and take advantage of some of the other species that qualify. Simon was fishing out of Tropic Star Lodge in Panama when he landed a cubera snapper, roosterfish, and a bluefin trevally on topwater. Congratulations Simon on an incredible slam and some festive attire.
